The compromis, also called the private sale agreement, is a binding contract between the buyer and the seller of a property.

Is a compromis final?

Yes. Contrary to popular belief, a compromis is not without obligation. Once both parties have signed, the sale is concluded, unless it contains conditions precedent that are not met.
