When a property is sold, the buyer must be informed of its planning status. In Flanders this is the stedenbouwkundig uittreksel, made up of the plans register and the permits register. In Wallonia and Brussels the notary requests the planning information (renseignements urbanistiques) from the municipality.
What does it contain?
It shows whether planning permits have been granted for the property, whether any planning breaches are known and what the zoning of the plot is (for example residential area or park area).
